Nature: CAS Research Team Deciphers Molecular Mechanism of Energy Transfer in Chloroplast Endosymbiosis—Inscinstech Supports Cutting-Edge Life Science Research

Major Breakthrough by Inscinstech Customer
Recently, the research group led by Prof. Fan Minrui at the Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences (CEMPS) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), collaborating with teams from Westlake University (Prof. Wu Xudong), Fudan University (Prof. Zhang Jinru), and Zhejiang University (Prof. Su Nannan), published a landmark study titled "Structure and mechanism of the plastid/parasite ATP/ADP translocator" in the prestigious journal Nature. This research successfully resolved the high-resolution cryo-EM structures of ATP/ADP transporters in chloroplasts and Chlamydia, deepening our understanding of the molecular mechanism behind transmembrane energy transfer during chloroplast endosymbiosis and providing a critical theoretical foundation for related fields.
